What to put in a factory RFQ

A clear specification reduces follow-up and makes supplier quotations easier to compare.

  1. Bag style and dimensions: share a drawing, reference photo or finished width, height and gusset.
  2. Material: identify non-woven, cotton, canvas or another requested fabric, including weight where known.
  3. Quantity split: state pcs per style, colour and size; the minimum is 500 pcs for each combination.
  4. Print or blank requirement: attach artwork and identify print colours, or state that cotton/canvas bags should be unprinted.
  5. Packing and destination: describe individual/carton packing and provide the US delivery city or named port for a freight quote.
  6. Timing and trade term: give your target date and ask the supplier to confirm the production schedule and FOB/CIF/DDP scope in writing.

Working samples generally take 3–7 working days after specifications and any required artwork are confirmed. Sample shipping is separate.
